John has been part of the LifeWise team since October of 2017. He first began as a client service associate while he worked to quickly secure his Series 7 and 66 registrations in addition to life, disability, and long-term care insurance certifications. After completing his registrations and insurance certifications, he fully transitioned into an advisor role, working directly with individual clients. John further secured his Certified Financial Planner™ designation in the summer of 2023 after becoming a partner at the start of that year. John enjoys the meaningful work and unique challenges that come with personal financial planning, whether it’s preparing and guiding folks through retirement or helping a young family plan for their future.

John and his wife Erika have been married since 2014, they are both from Mahomet where they live now after graduating from Illinois State University. They have two young sons, Luke and Micah. The family enjoys serving at their local church, Grace Church of Mahomet, and you will often find them there or at the ball fields supporting their two boys. John is an avid sports fan, his office has plenty of Red Sox memorabilia, a passion which has been adopted by the whole family!
